Learning how birds use their senses.
Today to Open Up Our Senses and learn how different birds use their senses we went to Muncaster Castle.
Did you know that The Great Grey Owl can hear its prey from over 100 feet away and through snow as deep as 45 centimetres, how’s that for a great use of its Hearing sense.
Most Vultures are on the endangered species list and Muncaster Castle is doing some great things to help protect them. Read on their webpage about some of the work they do to help these amazing birds.

What Are You Missing? Travels
What can you do to open up your senses? How about going on a boat or a steam train - we did it on Wednesday and here are some photos.
We took a cruise on the world famous Windermere Lake Cruises. It was a misty morning but that soon cleared up and the blue skies came out to play.
It felt great to feel the sun on our faces after a chilly start.
The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway station platform looked really spooky in the morning mist especially when you could hear the sound of the steam train but not see it.
